Musings: Fit, Focused and Sharp

Heavenly-Sword-desktop-1165.jpg

To be productive your body must be healthy and fit

Just as a sword must be made of the finest alloy

So too does the person

If they are to cut through the obstacles of life

You must feed yourself well

and hone your body

to be sharp, sharp and sharper

infinitely sharp

(thus learn and unlearn continuously – refine endlessly)

You must reach the point where you can say,

Yes, I feel healthy.”

My body is the finest it can be.”

I can handle anything

(though not everything as David Allen might say)

Then you are wielding the tools of the focused mind.

YOU ARE THE FOCUSED MIND.

YOU ARE THE BLADE.

So…

You must feel healthy. (So cleanse your body of poisons – as much as you can)

You must feel confident. (So cleanse your mind of doubts – accept what comes, worry not of failure, embrace mistakes as a learning experience)

Then you will feel ready.

The body is the first key, the first step, the foundation.

Achieving productivity is not the end.

It is about controlling yourself

The only thing within your control in this world.

******************************************

Ignore the body

Ignore the mind

And shaky foundations

Are what you stand on
