The Institute of Island Studies is seeking two interns to go to Chiloe Island in Chile and work with the Williche Council of Chiefs.
The deadline to apply for the 2010 program is August 27th, 2010.

The successful candidates will start work in September and go to Chiloe this November.
The interns will receive a stipend for their work and costs related to overseas travel. Language development and professional development training are provided.
To be eligible for the International Youth Internship Program, applicants
must be:
- a Canadian citizen or permanent resident legally entitled to work in Canada.
- a post-secondary graduate
- out of school
- between the ages of 19 and 30
- unemployed or underemployed
- have not participated in an internship with the Career Focus stream of the Government of Canada’s Youth Employment Strategy (YES)
