Here’s an excellent video on making mistakes in order to succeed by Tim Ferriss (the author of the controversial Four Hour Workweek) and Ramit Sethi (author of NYTime best seller “I Will Teach You to Be Rich.” Tim also makes a telling point about marketing.
It really emphasizes some key challenges and issues that entrepreneurs or anyone for that matter really ought to face up front: if you really want to succeed, you’ve got to make mistakes and learn from them.
Bottom line: make mistakes double time (to learn faster), work hard, hard, harder (towards a specific goal) and never give up. And don’t forget to evaluate yourself.
That’s what it takes to be highly successful in your own eyes if not in the eyes of others.
(Of course you might want a peaceful cottage instead somewhere in the mountains and that’s okay too.)
